O psicólogo Richard Wiseman encarnou um James Randy e saiu pelo mundo digital atrás de provas de paranormalidade. O britânico convidou voluntários e pessoas que alegavam ter poderes psíquicos a seguir seu twitter. Wiseman então se dirigia a um local secreto (no mundo real) e pedia aos seguidores que tentassem descrever onde estava, tudo por meio do Twitter. Depois, ele enviava fotos de cinco lugares diferentes para que os participantes votassem na locação verdadeira. A mais votada seria escolhida. O que, segundo o professor, seria prova suficiente para atestar a paranormalidade dos voluntários.
Resultado: em nenhuma das ocasiões o grupo acertou seu paradeiro. E olha que mais de mil pessoas participaram da experiência.
