O Treehugger apresenta os 16 anúncios mais criativos e impactantes, de empresas e ONGs, que chamam a atenção para as ameaças sobre o futuro da Terra, o aquecimento global, a perda de biodiversidade e a responsabilidade humana sobre tantos impactos gerados.

Para ocupar o primeiro lugar, o blog elegeu a campanha da ACT-Responsible (foto acima), empresa que organiza o trabalho de publicitários que promovem a sustentabilidade e o cuidado com o planeta, consigo mesmo e com os outros. 

O anúncio não é nada leve e mostra uma criança – que representa as futuras gerações – literalmente com a corda no pescoço, que pode enforcá-la a qualquer momento, à medida que o gelo sob seus pés derrete.

Pesquisas com jovens, como a realizada pela MTV no ano passado, mostram que o público prefere ter informações sobre o que pode fazer para ajudar a cuidar do planeta do que ter acesso a dados que simplesmente alardeiam sobre uma situação trágica.

Por outro lado, o diretor de criação da campanha da ACT-Responsible, Fred Claviere, diz que é necessário fazer as pessoas reagirem e o assunto é urgente demais para não apelar para esse tipo de imagem.
