Cemitérios fotovoltaicos

Os cemitérios precisam ser mais verdes. Seja tornando o enterro em uma cerimônia mais ecológica, ou seja adaptando a necrópole para algo mais sustentável. E se essa bandeira verde contemplasse placas fotovoltaicas para a produção de energia para a cidade?

De acordo com a agência de notícias BBC Brasil, um município espanhol decidiu gastar R$ 2,2 milhões para colocar a alternativa energética em cima dos mausoléus. Foi a maneira encontrada para conseguir suprir, por enquanto, a demanda de 60 casas por ano.

Por enquanto, apenas 5% do cemitério está coberto de placas. Os moradores, no começo, não gostaram muito da idéia, mas já estão mudando de opinião graças às campanhas públicas que explicam a falta de espaço na cidade. Afinal, são 124 mil habitantes em apenas 4 km², de acordo com a agência. Para se ter uma idéia, a capital paulista tem 7 mil hab/km². Santa Coloma de Gramenet, que fica ao norte de Barcelona, possui 31 mil hab/km²! Quase 5 vezes mais pessoas.

Os painéis no cemitério evitam que 62 milhões de toneladas de dióxido de carbono poluam a atmosfera. O problema é conseguir visitar o túmulo do falecido com uma placa refletindo a luz do sol…
