Um avião para dormir!

Nós já pedimos para que a sua viagem seja consciente, com os cálculos das suas emissões e quantas árvores deveriam ser plantadas para neutralizar o traslado. Mas já parou para pensar o que acontece com os aviões quando eles não podem mais voar?
Alguns são mandados para o meio do deserto para ser desmembrados ou, apenas, curtir a paz eterna. Outros, aliás, um toma outros ares e é reciclado para ser usado com outro fim: ser a sede de um albergue.
Em Estocolmo, na Suécia, um jumbo 747 construído em 1976 vai servir, a partir de dezembro deste ano, como uma hospedaria a poucos metros do aeroporto da cidade. Todos os 450 lugares do avião foram retirados para dar lugar a 25 quartos com 85 camas no total. Além da acomodação, o Jumbo Hostel ainda dá a possibilidade de se andar pela asa da aeronave.
Para os que possuem maior verba, podem aproveitar a cabine do piloto, que foi transformada em uma suíte de luxo – mas com alguns atrativos da antiga função da "casa" -, e aproveitar a visão panorâmica do aeroporto da cidade.
Infelizmente, a construção do albergue foi feita como qualquer outra casa, mantendo o aquecimento interno e o consumo de energia. Mas, de qualquer forma, está aí um belo exemplo de que tudo pode ser reutilizado… para tudo!
