O mundo está cheio de inovações tecnológicas que não têm muito sentido. Algumas até exageram quando dizem que levam em conta a salvação do planeta. Mas, desta vez, a notícia é boa. A Haier acaba de lançar a WasH2O, uma máquina de lavar que não utiliza sabão em pó.
Para limpar as roupas, o aparelho quebra as moléculas de água, em átomos ácidos e alcalinos. O íon OH- consegue penetrar no tecido muito mais do que a água e atrai a sujeira. O íon H+, por ser ácido, mata as bactérias presentes na roupa e ainda clareia as manchas com seu poder de bleach.
Os pesquisadores da WashH2O afirmam que a invenção é 25% mais ecologicamente correta que os modelos convencionais. É que além de sabão em pó ser feito de petróleo, normalmente não é biodegradável e prejudicam fauna e flora aquáticas.
